There is little you or I can do about the thousands of businesses or retail stores that have closed during these challenging times but there is something we can do to help our local restaurants who offer "take-out" service stay open so they can keep providing jobs. There are 1.2 million jobs at stake, yes, that’s how many workers our Canadian food service businesses employ in Canada...with most of them earning minimum wage. The challenge is for you to look beyond your own financial challenges if you can, and take up the “TAKE-OUT TUESDAY CHALLENGE” by placing a “take-out” order for as many Tuesday’s you can until life somewhat returns to normal. By doing so, you will help keep someone employed while bringing some well-deserved cheer and hope to your own family.
